Jacob Snow
Designer
For over ten years prior to producing his own work, Jacob Snow was a design consultant and well respected advanced diamond setter for many of America's top jewelry designers. He continues to teach technical workshops, including advanced techniques of stone setting as well as ancient goldsmithing. Today he devotes his time to the design, production and promotion of his own line, the Heirloom Collection of Jacob Snow Designs. In his first year in the market Jacob was named a "Rising Star" at the JCK Las Vegas International Jewelry Show. In 1995 he won the American Jewelry Design Council Designer of the Year award.
In 1999 Jacob was made a member of the International Jewelry Design Guild, and in October of 2000 he was awarded first place in the Maine Jewelers' Association Annual Design Competition. He participates in wholesale and retail jewelry and crafts shows around the country. In May 2001 he was a founding participant in global Design 2001, which featured 16 of the world's top jewelry designers.
